An underside view of a front seat cushion. Towards the top of the photo can be seen the rubber cushion (above the tension springs) which has gone hard and crumbly. Below is a close up of the rear right-hand corner, where a brass screw has broken, releasing the tip of the carpeting. The leather piping used in the ACs seat, unfortunately, has wooden rods inside, and these pieces of wood tend to break and then wear holes through the leather. A soft cord would be preferable.
