Edge trim

Back view of the stiff card that goes just above the windows, concealing the edges of the head-cloth. Each card is wrapped in a matching cloth. This one goes above the right-hand side window. The bottom flap of cloth should be clamped by the varnished wood trim that surrounds the window. I've shown the back view, because the unfaded cloth colour can be seen. Many of the earlier ACs (circa 1947-50) had beige/brown interiors.

These edge trim cards are fixed to the wood frame with panel pins, and then the cloth is folded down to conceal the pins, and tucked under the varnish wood trim.
