This draft excluder is fitted to the flange on the wooden cantrail, facing outwards. When the door is closed, the top of the door window frame presses sideways against the draft excluder. The draft excluder itself is of steel contruction, reinforced with beads along both edges, and then wrapped in a black fabric with a narrow strip of velvet pile.
