ACs were fitted with this roller-blind inside the rear window. It is operated via a length of string passing through a system of tiny pulleys and then through eye-screws above the driver's side window. The end of the string has a plastic ring on it which hooks over a stud above the driver's door to keep the blind closed. The photo shows one of the brass support brackets, the rolled up blind itself, and the wooden batten at its top edge. The old cloth colour has faded badly.
